Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lbs organic ground turkey We prefer 99% lean
  • 1/2 medium organic onion Finely chopped
  • 1/2 medium organic bell pepper Finely chopped
  • 2 cloves organic garlic Finely chopped
  • 1 large organic cage free egg beaten
  • 1 medium organic tomato Finely chopped
  • 1 tsp organic himalayan sea salt corse
  • 1 tsp organic ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp organic ground turmeric root
  • 4 tbsp purified water
  • .17 lbs organic jalapeno cayenne cheese approximate weight is appoximate, 4 pieces; optional
  • 2 tbsp organic parmigiano reggiano - pecorino romano graded cheese blend optional

Instructions
  1. Preheat grill with the flame on high.
  2. Add all ingredients except organic jalapeno cayenne cheese (optional for end of recipe) to a large bowl and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into balls. Flatten into nice thick patties. The mixture will be a bit wet and messy from the eggs and water so do the best you can.
  4. Place patties on grill then reduce heat to a medium flame and close lid. Cook for about 3 - 4 minutes and flip. Repeat until the burgers are cooked through. Turkey needs to be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees fahrenheit for safe consumption.
  5. * Optional - Just prior to the burgers being cooked through place cheese on the burger to melt.
  6. Serve hot over a tasty bed of fresh greens and enjoy!
